HR workforce skill development

Inspiration

We believe many individuals that are entering the workforce or have been in the work force already do not seem to have a grasp on some key ideas that keep the work place functioning smoothly.

What it does

This project will assess the strengths and weaknesses of people's soft skills regarding communication, self management, stress, and productivity. The user will take a pretest, either quick or more in depth, for any of these categories, and based on their scores we will provide tips and resources to help them improve.

How we built it

We used Javafx and intelliJ to create this project.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into issues making the buttons work the way we wanted to, as well as arranging everything in a way that made sense.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy to have created a working demo of this project.

What we learned

Working with GUIs is challenging but rewarding and understanding how to properly utilize them is very useful.
