Inspiration

Enabling end-to-end paperless air cargo processes, using different technologies to improve the quality of data sharing, customs (PLACI) declaration and also integration of the e-commerce stakeholders via ONE Record. As Turkish Cargo we have launched new integration for e-commerce with Widect. Tackling an e-commerce challenge on hackathon was also beneficial for our own operations future.

What it does

Our solution integrates 6 stakeholders via ONE Record servers. It enables to check dangerous goods document on MSDS document through OCR technology. Also customs PLACI filing can make and responses of the customs can be received. Also IoT tracking devices are used for better transparency and customer satisfaction. At the end, it creates paperless and digitized e-commerce industry.

We are addressing to Challenge 1, Challenge 2 and Challenge 3 with our project.

How we built it

We have used our own ONE Record server. We are simulating the communication via ONE Record data modals with remained five industry stakeholders. Document checks are being made by our OCR API to create paperless processes. Also used IoT devices to track location and environmental situation of the parcels.

The problem of some embedded data modal cannot be created
Since the focused topic is comprehensive, both coding and presentation processes were difficult the achieve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of ourselves for accomplishing such a great project in such a short time. Staying awake may seem to be our biggest enemy but nothing is impossible with such an amazing team that we worked with. We are also very proud of each other. We have integrated 6 different stakeholders and we have used different technologies together. Paperless process is not a dream, we are pretty sure that we proved it is a future with One Record.

What we learned

Detailed Information One Record Data Modal, we have realized that there are still room for improvement. We also had learned that editing a video is no job for lazy people :) Also we've used AI to generate voice model of Henk Mulder and used it to vocalize our presentation. That was another door for us opening to new adventures.

What's next for i-Parcel

Since we've proved that it is possible, our main plan is launching e-commerce integration with Widect(e-commerce integrator) via One Record. After going production, our one record server will be much more efficient and available for other integrations.
