Inspiration

We live in a busy world, where time is everything. With the existence of that many tasks we often face one important problem: lack of Organization. That motivated us to create a new free smart organizer which can compete with the leading highly paid organizers like Asana.

What it does

"IBeM GO" is a smart organizer, which uses modern practices to help you find more free time in your busy schedule. You can add your daily tasks to our application using the kanban board. We will track your preferences and use them to train our AI (Artificial Intelligence) in order to automate the process and create an auto-priority system. We want to implement an option to extract all of your emails and convert them into tasks. We will use NLP to summarise the title and to find the subject.

How we built it

We created a desktop Web Application that shows the prototype vision of "IBeM GO". For the domain, we used .tech from _ domain.com _. For the front-end we used HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery. We made a register system with PHP and SQL. We will use IMAP to extract the emails in order to convert them into tasks. We developed ML (Machine Learning) to help us achieve better prioritization of the tasks. We used tensorflow.py and Python to create this part of the software. The algorithm uses raw text data from tasks and event descriptions (which are currently generated by us) and calculates the frequency of occurrence of user-defined keywords. This data is pushed into a Neural Network designed for priority classification.

Challenges we ran into

It was a new experience for us to use IBM zSystems, so that created small challenges. However, we managed to easily surpass them.

We synchronized our team to work as one and that highly affected our performance.

What we learned

We learned how to use IBM zSystems and we improved our ML (Machine Learning) skills.

What's next for IBeM GO

We want to exceed our limits while progressing on that project. We will make more ML algorithms and we will finish the Web Application to make it more responsive.
