Inspiration
Ever since we were young we had the technical ability of coding but never the creativity to make a useful project. We started to get bored with programming but luckily we have friends that told us about projects that we could do, and try out. When making this project we thought about people that don't necessarily have coding friends or don't know people that program, and we didn't want them to get bored of programming and give it up, so we created this website where people with different levels of programming experience can try new projects.
What it does
Our program will suggest various ideas based on the user's experience level that the user can choose from and start to develop.
How we built it
We first based the data set in python, then uploaded our Python code to an HTML file, and ran our python file in HTML
Challenges we ran into
We ran into problems with the width of the box on our webpage but we were able to work together as a team and figure it out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the smooth functioning of our webpage and how well we worked together as a team.
What we learned
We increased our knowledge of HTML and javascript. We also learned how to work as a team to tackle the obstacles that come with online collaboration.
What's next for IdeaGen
We will develop the database for IdeaGen by adding more project ideas to provide our users with a larger variety of program suggestions.
