Inspiration
Does all the social media isolate people even more, and scatter our focus? What’s the reason that hinders our learning and achievement? In the world full of distraction, don’t we need a new platform that allow us to focus on the learning and working? The scam revenue for crypto piled up to 7.7 billion in 2021. It is time for us players to change the notion of the industry.
We’ve been feeling this way, for a while. They might seem different topics. But surprisingly, they all came to one place.
Including social media, lots of things started with a good intention turn out to be boundary for new innovation. Lots of social media and app are created every day in order to profit off from people’s scattered attention, boredom, and greed.
People are actively joining web3 with different reasons. Some are driven by the prospect, some driven by the benefit, and above reasons. And there are always people who take advantage of that.
We need a sincere platform that allows people to learn about up-to-date knowledge and skills in web3, otherwise we won’t have sustainable cultural carriers for blockchain. But crypto is known for dynamic charts, and intuitive & simulative project. Who wants to "study" it, like your high school exam? Some do, but not too many. So how can we make learning fun?
That’s where we, as developers and players of Web3, came to this idea of Hackathon Learning from our own experiences.
What we will do
We will provide guided roadmap for different Web3 player (developer, designer, entrepreneur, etc) and free resources library. In order to help them learn them most effectively, we will organize 2-3 weeks hackathon where users can mint participation NFT, and make their own Web3 projects (building website and making a blueprint for product/services).
How we built it
We used mainly React,NextJS TailwindCSS, and connected wallet to NEAR Protocol.
Challenges we ran into
Like most of hackathon there are different levels of developers and users in the team. We also have different range of commitment. There was someone who joined hackathon for the first time. The time is always never enough. But it was also fun. We wish to spread this culture to people outside our sphere.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have now a beautiful product website and a solid business blueprint. We know each other’s work style better and can estimate the completion time for the next challenge.
What we learned
Time is never enough for a hackathon. But we can be more prepared.
What's next for iLearnX
We will sophisticate our website and course selections, as well as the Go-To-Market. We are looking into next hackathon and plan to look for a grant.
