Inspiration

We were inspired by iMining's initiative to make proof of stake solutions more accessible. We believe that having a greener alternative to Proof of Work will not only help save our planet but lower gas fees. Environmental concerns are also keeping a lot of people out of the metaverse (see NFT controversy), so fixing this problem only stands to benefit mankind.

What it does

The iMining DEX uses a layer 2 scaling solution (polygon) in-order to reduce gas fees for the user and reduce congestion on the eth mainnet.

How we built it

We used Molaris in-order to build and take this DEX to production quickly.

Challenges we ran into

We realized that in-order create a DEX, we'd have to fork something like Uniswap. Unfortunately, we found out that that wasn't feasible in a 5-day project. Thus, in-order to solve this problem, we learned how to use Moralis. Molaris uses plugins in order to speed up development cycles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are most proud of learning how to use Molaris. Now, we can make production-quality applications in a fraction of the time.

What we learned

Learning how to use Moralis in-order to speed up the development cycle via plugins was an unexpected and extremely valuable discovery. We've learned to drastically reduce development time and produce quicker results, and that is something that will stick with us for a long time.
