Inspiration: We wanted a software to automate report making systems in hospitals easier for the medical professionals.

What it does: It takes radiology scans like MRI, X-ray, CAT scans, etc., as input and provides a detailed report on the findings inferred from the MRI.

How we built it: We utilized datasets and models from Hugging Face and Kaggle. We used pre-trained models and also trained models using datasets to identify whether the scans are of a healthy person or that of a person having any diseases and generate a report by passing the output to Gemini API.

Challenges we ran into: We had to learn how to train models and also to connect the frontend and the backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We have managed to work together as a team and learned new topics like trained models and programming backend and managed to complete the project.

What we learned: We learned how to train a model, the issues regarding it, and also how to program frontend and backend and connect them together.

What's next for InSight: We plan to develop the current project and extend it to a wider range of diseases.
