Inspiration

Recently, Canada’s politicians have been promoting their parties on Tik Tok, so we decided to promote Fidelity on Discord, since many young adults actively use this platform in their daily lives.

What it does

InvestiFIDE is a server which is the perfect solution to narrow down the investor’s search query by offering ChatBOT and ChatLIVE on Discord to make the investors’ journey as smooth as possible.

How we built it

We used Figma to create a prototype of the server and bring imagination to life. We used Discord to manifest this prototype and make it functional, as well as available to potential investors.

Challenges we ran into

Our team was challenged when determining how our product would gain funds to employ a tech team to keep the server up and running. Also, gathering data from Instagram in a short amount of time was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our product, the Discord server, is a simple idea that can be implemented immediately on Fidelity’s website. We are proud of the progress we have made in such a short amount of time.

What we learned

We learned to use a completely new and useful software, Figma, during our time in this hackathon. We also worked on how to pitch a good presentation with the help of the mandatory workshop and the Fidelity mentors.

What's next for InvestiFIDE

By the end of this month, we will have created bots that monitor the safety of users and eliminate illegal practices. We project to have at least 5000 active people on our server by June of 2020. By December 2020, we will have over 20 partnerships with major servers. With more time, resources and your advice, we will be able to launch this server and make it into a booming success.
