Inspiration

I wanted to use some cool NLP techniques cause ML is cool. Also the prize is a really good incentive to get me going. It's really nice how the ability to use world class models to fit my own applications is within my fingertips.

What it does

It extracts useful information from different invoices, across multiple formats and generates digestible CSVs for us to consume.

How we built it

I used Python, Huggingface, PyTorch, Google Cloud, and Google Cloud Vision APIs

My first rodeo with GCP and Vision APIs, bugs, a lot of bugs

What we learned

A lot about different cloud technologies, and using the transformer architecture for building applications using transfer learning. Also learned how to use Google Cloud Vision APIs

What's next for Invoicer

The model needs to be fine tuned, and trained further upon. The
