IoTrespassing

If you have a crazy ex, then you know that having a camera security system is very important. But what happens when you have multiple crazy exes? That's where IoTrespassing comes in.

What it does

The IoTrespassing detects motion and scans for a face. If a face is detected, then an email with a picture of the intruder is sent to the user to alert them of the trespassing.

How we built it

Using OpenCV in Python, we were able to detect motion and do facial detection. Then the python script was uploaded to the Dragonboard and set up.

Challenges we ran into

Installing libraries on the Dragonboard was very difficult and it took a lot of time to work it out. Additionally, the Dragonboard does not have a lot of documentation and resources on it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to integrate everything into the Dragonboard

How to use OpenCV for motion and face detection and learning about new concepts such as Haar Cascades.
