Inspiration As students, we initially had limited knowledge of credit scores and were somewhat intimidated by their potential impact on our lives. However, after thorough research, we discovered the significant benefits of managing credit scores effectively.
What we built Our web application utilizes the advanced *AI model GPT-3.5 * to analyse user profiles, including income, expenditures, and savings. It generates a comprehensive report that includes a credit score analysis, risk score, transaction analysis, and recommendations for improving one's credit score.
How we built The full-stack web application was primarily developed using the Next.JS framework, with authentication handled by Auth0 and domain registration through GoDaddy. We used a Python script to simulate user data and API calls, including the Capital One Developer API and OpenAI's GPT-3.5 API.
Challenges faced by us Challenges faced by the team included limited initial knowledge about credit scores, intimidation due to negative perceptions, and the need to learn web development. Interacting with AI presented a learning curve. They aim to improve the project based on feedback and transition to real-life data inputs, further enhancing their application.
What we achieved Our team successfully collaborated to create a model that educates users and empowers them to maximise their financial potential. We gained valuable experience in topics like API integration, full-stack development, domain registration, and AI interaction.
Further plans on improvement Moving forward, we aim to further refine Kredia based on feedback and launch it as a fully functional application, capable of processing real-life data inputs. Our goal is to help users achieve their financial aspirations and ensure Kredia reaches its full potential as a valuable financial tool.
