Inspiration
I have not travelled much since the covid pandemic and designed to build this app as way to inspire myself to see the world more.
What it does
It explores the rich tapestry of global diversity. Discover cultures, traditions, architecture, and nuances from countries around the world.
How we built it
It was built using html, css and javascript. The code exists on GitHub and was deployed to the web using vercel. It also leverages gemini API to get the country information
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge was selecting the countries and setting up gemini to respond in the right way
What we learned
The cultural tapestry of the world is wonderful and colourful. I love that this app helped remind me of that
What's next for Kulture Kode
- Build in multi-lingual support
- Integrate it into travel applications
