What it does

Our app enables people in Africa to pay their bills with Bitcoin Lightning, providing a faster, more accessible, and more secure way to make payments.

How we built it

We built our app using a combination of technologies, including Flutterwave as our bill payment processor, Voltage to enable Lightning Network payments, and Btc Pay server to receive payments on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. By leveraging these technologies, we were able to create a seamless payment experience that is fast, secure, and low-cost.

Challenges we ran into

During the development process of Lightning Pay, we faced a number of challenges. One of the main challenges was integrating the different technologies we used in the app. it required us to spend a considerable amount of time to figure out how they'll work together seamlessly. Additionally, ensuring the security of the app major challenge, as security is a top priority when dealing with financial transactions.
