Inspiration : Our group has often found that academic strategists are not readily available, and many are not comfortable sharing their marks or getting demotivated from them. Instead, this new bot, should motivate, help students, on ways to excel at a certain concept.
What it does: This project will provide students with an AI academic strategist, that can find subtopics, and create strategies on how to study for the particular subject, and excel with resources.
How we built it: We used flasks framework, and libraries on python to pursue this project. Html coding also plays a huge role in designing the front end of the project.
Challenges we ran into: Some challenges we ran into, was the scope of the project, this is a large scale project, but we have turned it down into a small demo project, using certain concepts (almost like a quizlet style) to try and see how things work. It is quite some work, since many group members are new to flask framework in python.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud to create the master of the project, which is the data structure on how this project will work.
What we learned: We have learned a new framework in python, called flask. There's always something new to learn in coding!
What's next for Lobsidian: I think this project has immense scope in the future, and will be the next digitally strategized academic strategist, that will make students feel more comfortable, and can plan and use resources, and use subtopics strategist to help progress the learning in certain courses the student might be struggling in. Since, not always professors, or academic strategists are available. This is the new future for the education system.
