Inspiration came after it dawned to me impression of AR in the fashion industry. Thanks to AR- online shopping has been thrilling.

It helps to try on virtually a nose ring on different locations.
How I built it
I built it using Spark AR software.
Challenges I ran into
Fixing locations were tricky. Plus choice of jewelry wasn't Nose ring in the 1st place, had to give it up due to Facebook regulations.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Finally built managed to implement my coding skills on JS to good use.
What's next for Lucky Spot
Next area of focus is the earring and necklace.
Technical Side of The Project
1) Spark AR Effect The backbone of the project is the inbuilt ‘Face Tracker’ and ‘Face Mesh’.Principal Asset used is the ‘Nose ring’. More about it mentioned below.Original intended to use a Slider UI to provide a wide range of colours but decided to dropped it down the preserve the versatility of the effect in both social media. Notable interactions brought in are ‘Head Rotation’, ‘Pinch Gesture’, ‘Tap Gesture’. They have played a huge role in bringing different features to the effect. ‘Virtual Mirroring’ was accomplished using by clever implementation of the inbuilt patch editor framework. Notable tutorials the helped me during the process of the building the effect include-
2) Asset Principal One is the nose ring developed using Blender. It was modelled from a primitive structure known as torroid. My exposure to blender youtube tutorials and SV.CO’s Spark AR Open Program has greatly benefited me while building the nose-ring. Originally the 3d object file was huge, thanks to Mesh mixer, I managed to bring it down to 1/15th of its original size. Softwares Used- Blender 2.8, Autodesk’s Mesh Mixer, Microsoft 3D Viewer, Mac Preview.
