Inspiration
I always wanted that all information I get is more cleaner and easier to get though Gmail have all this filter most of the time the important filter gives only verification mail and I also wanted a situation where as I could handle most of my social media account from one place at a given place given me more of a one time glance of everything i have to do from many of my account and work on it , increasing productive level and manage time
What it does
it filter mail into four category: spam ( un- important mail), hard decisions(mail that need you to make hard decisions), important( ones with deadline, or with important messages), normal.
in the demo the default mail will be categorized into their various groups, if dates it will be saved to the calendar and show you the ratio between all of the categorized showing you the kind of mail entering you account. making you have the decision of cutting of from some new letter that is not helping you or find a way to manage them. the demo also can give Ai response to spam mail and a few normal mail. to ease the stress of endless replies
How I built it
create a demo AI with a dictionary created as emails, I used multiple functions to identify dates key words to categorize them into there given groups and so on. I used streamlit to create the user interface. Used re to find dates in emails . Used altair for the graph and panda for all the calculations needed for the graph
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
i am proud of how easy and navigable the UI is. the pie charts that works well the filter is working and identifies the different categories easily
What's next for Media-Manager
adding a real AI make a phone extension that runs in the backgrounds and sends notification allow it to give summaries of each and every category
