Which microhacks you attended from the event
Members attended the UI/UX, AI Agents, Crypto, 3D Modelling and Web microhacks. All members fulfilled the three (3) minimum microhack workshop attendance requirements.
What you made during the microhacks!
- Hack404 webpage rendition called Hack505 based on the UI/UX workshop
- Project based on the AI Agent workshop
- Project based on the Web Design workshop
Some of the challenges you faced and what you learned during the hackathon
For the UI/UX microhack, we encountered a limitation of accessibility. Initially, we had ambitious plans of having at least 8 pages dedicated to the mock Hack"505" (rendition of Hack404) interface. In reality, we were given a small portion of pages to use for this project, as this was the limit of the free Figma subscription plan that came with it. As such, we prioritized the remaining pages to map out the menu bar. Additional buttons (i.e. register and sponsor forms) did not have pages to connect with. While this limitation was indeed abrupt and direct, we were still able to maximize the utility (pages) we were given by concentrating all our effort towards the given pages to ensure a cohesive navigational experience in the Hack505 screen.
How you worked together as a team, what roles each team member played
Each member found their interest across the three different microhacks. Hanxi found his interest through interface, specifically UI/UX, tinkering with various settings and placements of visual objects. On the other hand, Jason and Hari analyzed AI applications and added customizable features to a chatbot, and Prithhvi worked to deliver a satisfying webpage experience in his microhack. Inevitably, the wonderful aspect of hackathons is for each hacker to discover their own sparkle, yet remain available and ready to assist across all projects. Whether it be debugging, testing, or simply asking for feedback, our group dynamic enabled us to succeed in making three microhacks that celebrated diversity.
