Inspiration
Our inspiration for this project primarily came from multiple wellness apps and calendar organization programs.
What it does
Our project acts as both a wellness tracker as well as a to-do-list featuring activities to maintain astronaut health.
How we built it
This project was primarily built using Python, utilizing the tkinter interface as well as MongoDB for our database. OAuth was also incorporated as a form of user verification/login.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we encountered came in the form of putting the final executable together as well as early technical problems.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to incorporate OpenAI as a responsive feature that potential astronauts can use to better their mental health.
What we learned
We all learned various things particularly related to project development and collaboratively using the features of Github. We also learn about working with python virtual environment and about OAuth.
What's next for MindOrbit
MindOrbit can easily be grown to have more features and interactive responses to the data that is collected from astronauts. This project aims to be conscientious of the specific challenges astronauts can face and can expand to handle more various scenarios.
