Inspiration

Fellows are talented individuals who are presented with many opportunities, but sometimes they have to pass some offers up for others. We built MLH Network as a platform for current fellows and alumni to share any opportunities that they may come across but cannot pursue at the moment.

What it does

It's a fellow-exclusive job platform that lets fellows share any opportunities that they may come across. It also helps alumni share new openings in their organization with other fellows.

How we built it

We used the Amplify Studio backend and the Amplify React UI library to build out the full-stack web app!

Challenges we ran into

We had some issues trying to create a Figma mockup and export it to react code as we are both not well-versed in Figma and UI/UX design.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to ship out a working application in a week!

What we learned

We learned a ton about how AWS Amplify works, how you can use it to speed up app development, and also explored the various features and possibilities available through Amplify!
