Inspiration

We talked to slovansko.digital and understood their pain. We have a common problem (in Russia and Slovakia): the problem of communication of citizens, involvement in city life and decision-making. We tried to show our vision of what a city platform could look like that brings everyone together. We called it MyKošice.

What it does

This platform allows you to start discussions and communicate with your neighbors, representatives of city services. So citizens can make those decisions that are interesting and important to them.

How we built it

We built it in the form of an React application where there is a card and a user's personal account. The main point of communication is the dialogue tied to markers on the map. We store data in Google Firebase (part of Google Cloud Platform).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we have been able to do so much in such a short time.

What's next for MyKošice

Regardless of the results of the hackathon, we would like to continue to develop this platform together with the slovansko.digital. And make the world better and more convenient :3
