Inspiration: we were hoping to make a useful hack, and saw an opportunity to create one with implications for improving the lives of those less fortunate.
What it does is provide a way to monitor those with greater likelihood to be exposed to seizures, and immediately warn those who need to know such asmedical professionals) and those who truly want to know(close family).
How we built it is using android studio and c++ scripts to read the sensor inputs from the Myo band.
Challenges we ran into were integrating c++ code into our android app and allowing the app to connect to the Myo band through bluetooth.
Accomplishments that we're proud of is having our first android app and our first time using bluetooth.
What we learned it was cumbersome but rewarding.
What's next for Myolytics? Much more refined medical tech!!!
