Inspiration We wanted to create a set of tools that enriches people’s ability to connect with and enjoy nature.

What it does NÄTUR has four main features:

An AI-powered survival guide that offers advice and answers about the outdoors. A flight-tracking map, so if you hear a noise in the sky, you can check if it's an airplane. A photo album for uploading and sharing pictures from nature. An SOS button for emergencies. How we built it We used React for the frontend and Supabase for the backend.

Challenges we ran into As a team with varying levels of coding experience, we faced a learning curve with new tools and technologies. But we embraced it and grew our skills.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Last year, a teammate and I participated in HackSC but didn’t complete a project due to our lack of coding skills. Our goal this time was to build a substantial web application, and we're proud to have achieved that.

What we learned Three of our teammates learned React, and we gained experience with Supabase and the Google Maps API.

What's next for NÄTUR Adding AI-powered bird call detection!
