Inspiration

We were inspired by slower games that let you slowly progress through an environment. In addition we were inspired by the idea of creating an 'experience' rather than a traditional game

What it does

A fox walks through its changing world and overcomes challenges imposed by man by running jumping and crawling.

How we built it

We built it in Unity and made the art in Blender, Procreate, and Gimp

Challenges we ran into

Blender models not working properly, the player controller breaking leading to the fox falling over or walking on its back.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made the game while having almost zero knowledge in the programs we used to make it!

A big achievement is that all of the assets used were created by our team! (No Unity marketplace or free assets used, bar the skybox!)

What we learned

We learned that we are passionate about making games and we learned how to effectively work with the programs we used to create the game!

What's next for Nature's Echo

If we were to continue development we would add more levels, add a few cutscenes, and add more animations for the fox! (And also add cats, rats, and other animals we could interact with!)
