Inspiration

Sometimes I cant find stuff in the syllabus or if Im a TA or Professor theres questions that could have been answered by someone else. Having a platform that simplifies this process was something we wanted to make.

What it does

Simplifies the email process for all parties. If you are a student you can get a quick answer right from the syllabus using our AI or send it up to your TA/professor. If you are a TA you can see questions that arent related to the syllabus and if you cant answer them, you can send them to the professor. The professor no longer has to deal with clutters of syllabus questions or things that can be answered by the TA easily.

How we built it

We used react + vite and split it into frontend and backend. We split it mostly into frontend,backend,and making sure they connected while also developing the AI.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the AI to work with the JS folder. Designing how to make the experience smoother for the user. And getting the actual chatting feature to work with session authentication.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

With only 3 of us and no prior hackathon experience we are proud that we got something up and running. Albeit not finished we had enough development to say we actually made something.
