Inspiration
It all started when we saw the Bamboo Spark prototype for the first time. We saw how it enabled handwriting notes and digitalizing them on a simple click, we wanted to let our users use this, in our services. Our objective is to make it easier to users to input data in any system, that's why we also took advantage of text to speech recognition.
What it does
It offers the possibility to take handwritten notes on the Bamboo Spark and export them in an image format. The image is then sent to a remote server. We also offer a "voice server"-like experience : the user is asked several questions, based on speech synthesis and his answers are converted to text, structured and sent to a remote server.
How I built it
We used the Titanium framework to create cross-platform applications with native performances.
What's next for Bee-write
We would like to take advantage of Wacom's next-to-come OCR for an even better experience.
