Answer non binary questions

Inspiration

What it does

The idea behind the project is, to build a non linear social app, which connects people by matching their personalities. To achive this, we ask the user a few basic questions, that will indicate the users demands, e.g. dating or friendship. After that, the user can ask own questions, aswell as answer the questions from other users nearby. If two users have matching answers, both get a match in their matchlist. They now habe the oppertunity to chat and get to know each other.

How we built it

We used Kotlin to build a native Android App.

Challenges I ran into

No one of us had any experience in developing Apps with Kotlin and we bearly knew Android developing at all. So we had to learn everything from the scratch. During our development we ran into several Merge Conflicts and other issues with Git. However we didn´t destroyed our project (yet!!)

Accomplishments that we are proud of

We made good progress in learning Kotlin and Android development in general. Having an own prototype that is working makes this hackathon to a success for us
