Inspiration

AI agents have exploded in popularity over the past two years, yet developers often find themselves rebuilding similar functionalities time and again. With OrchusAI, we set out to create a centralized marketplace for AI agents—empowering both developers and non-technical users to leverage AI without reinventing the wheel.

What It Does

OrchusAI lets users seamlessly select, combine, and orchestrate AI agents. By enabling effortless data handoffs from one agent to another, our platform eliminates redundant development, letting users focus on innovation rather than integration.

How We Built It

We built OrchusAI almost entirely using AI-powered tools:

Design & Prototyping: Crafted interactive designs in Figma.
Product Prototype: Utilized Lovable for rapid initial development.
Infrastructure: Leveraged Supabase for user authentication and database management.
Core Integration: Used Gumloop as our primary AI agent provider. This AI-driven approach enabled us to rapidly iterate and deploy a functional product during the hackathon.

Challenges We Faced

The hackathon’s tight timeline made it difficult to nail down a specific niche. Additionally, setting up seamless agent automation and orchestration required a lot of time and significant amount of testing and setup.

Accomplishments We’re Proud Of

Despite the challenges, we successfully delivered a working prototype that allows users to chain AI agents together. Early feedback has validated our concept, and with lots of room for further development on our foundation, we’re confident we’re headed in the right direction.

What We Learned

Our experience highlighted the value of a clear design and development plan—even when leveraging cutting-edge AI tools. While AI accelerates our work, structured planning and creative problem-solving remain key. Plus, we even mastered some cool Figma animations to create an engaging user experience!

Currently, our marketplace hosts a limited number of agents. Moving forward, we aim to expand our catalog, offering users an even richer variety of AI agents to explore, combine, and innovate with.
