Phase-Shift Encryption is a combination of the Enigma Machine and your basic Caesar Shift. Caesar Shifts are simple, as they are just a shifting of the alphabet based on a passkey, and are very old, dating back to the Romans. The enigma machine is a much younger encryption machine, used in WW2 by the Nazi’s to encode their commands before they were sent over the radio. This encryption combines the shifting gears which were used by the enigma machine, a passkey driven Caesar Shift and modern random seeding to encrypt text file. The program also supports the ability to decrypt previously encrypted files if the passkey and seed value of that file is known. The user may also simply type a single line message of their own to encrypt, should they choose.
