Phishy Emails

Inspiration

We were inspired by the Google web game Interland

What it does

It's a game were players earn coins by identifying traits of phishing emails: we will educate them about these traits.

How we built it

We used Python, and it is currently ran in the python counsel

Challenges we ran into

Both of us only know the language python, so we were unable to create an actual game

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud that we could possibly make a change in internet safety from just a small and simple few lines of code, by teaching and educating individuals and making them aware of the threat posed by the web and internet.

What we learned

While researching for the project, we actually learned a lot about phishing emails that we didn't know.

What's next for Phishy Emails

We will try to make it into an actual game, as well as providing colorful graphics and more features for our characters! We would also like to find a more meaningful and accomplishing way to use/spend coins. We will be sure to update the game as more traits of phishing emails are popularized and become more common.
