Inspiration
When looking for events, information is often scattered and may not be relevant to a users interests. Initially we though of providing a platform which condenses the event searching process we then decided to expand to help both the event attendees and planners by creating a two sided approach which encourages event deployment and user suggestions.
What it does
Plan Up. provides an efficient full stack approach to the event planning and participating model. Our vision is to provide a more efficient method of integrating plans while maintaining the integrity of a human conversation.
How we built it
In our implementation we utilized an OpenAI model and Twilio to create an immersive and responsive platform hosted through Wix with Velo.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled to find an idea which we felt was both novel and useful.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a full stack web app in 10 hours since the conceptual process took much longer than anticipated.
What we learned
We learned how to host using Wix and how to work with the Velo Dev Mode. Additionally we both learned about and implemented and NPL in our site.
What's next for Plan Up.
We hope to create our own classification machine learning model to hopefully better organize the different events into their own classifications.
