Plastic Problem

Inspiration

I remember going to the beach when I was around five years old. The beach was littered with trash and plastic. At the time, I did not know the implications of plastic around marine wildlife. If I had picked up some of the trash, some animal may have survived.

What it does

A webpage showing the user the problems with plastic.

How we built it

Built using basic HTML, CSS, and JS.

Challenges we ran into

The whole CSS design process was challenging, due to the complications of CSS.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud to make a website that could change a person's view on plastic.

What we learned

I learned that making even a slightly presentable design with CSS still takes a lot of effort and debugging.

What's next for Plastic Problem

I want to try to make a game encouraging plastic pickup, as that would target a wider range of audiences.
