Inspiration
Gain recognition for the underrated bee contribution to society... by force.
What it does
Pollinates plants, whether they want to or not. Control the Pollinator using the, potentially off-site controller and display unit to explore uncharted territory, for search and rescue missions, or most importantly, to POLLINATE THOSE FLOWERS!
How we built it
With the power of nature and plenty of hardware and Raspberry-Pi debugging
Challenges we ran into
SSH-ing into the Rasperry-Pi (<-- This was a MAJOR problem) and feeding back live video footage. We also ran into some (many) issues with the motor board.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made it work as planned. (initially)
What we learned
Using hardware that we weren't used to. The Raspberry-Pi can be filled with some (nasty) surprises.
What's next for Pollinator
Pollinate all the plants in this world and move on to Mars.
