Pomapo

Inspiration

I took inspiration from the Sticky Notes app on Windows. It looked a bit boring so I thought I'd make it a bit more interesting.

What it does

Pomapo has a pomodoro timer and you can create a new tab where you can add tasks to do. You can also view the completion rate of the tab depending on the number of tasks left.

How we built it

I used python and pygui.

Challenges we ran into

This is my first time using Python during a hackathon. When creating a new tab, the app will crash. Pygui is getting updated frequently and sometimes old functionalities do not work anymore.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I created my first gui and participated in my first online hackathon.

What we learned

Learnt the basics of the pygui library and some new python functionalities.

What's next for Pomapo

Fix issues and add new features, then make it look visually appealing.
