Inspiration

We try to fusionate a function related with Inditex and at the same time related with social media enviroment and uses

What it does

The user will be able to upload their outfits, the website will show the image, some information about the post and a list of links and photos of Inditex products that will be related to the photo's clothes. On the other hand, other users will be able to see your posts and you will be able to see theirs.

How we built it

We device the task between the four members of the teammates who developed both frontend and backend. We also developed the uses of the Inditex APIs and also some extra APIs that we found on the Internet.

Challenges we ran into

When we first tried to use the Inditex API to relate the photo to the Inditex products, we found out that it did not accept directly the photo file, and that we needed to use an URL that will lead to the photo, that is why we needed to use another API, Imgbb, to be able to upload this URL so that we can use a photo.

On the other hand, we needed to do scraping in the Inditex clothing website, to extract the products photos to show them at our service.

At the begining we also had dificulties understanding the documentation of the Inditex documentation, leading to confusions on the code, however we manage to solve it and continue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really proud of being able to manage the problems related to the photo publication in the Inditex API. We also achieved to show and develope most of the initial idea that we had, which at some times, we thought we wouldn't be able to develope.

What we learned

We learned many things related to the use of external APIs that help to implement extra functionalities, that in the case that we had to implement them in the code itself would take us a really long time and with a lot of problems, by these we save a lot of time and stress. Overall, we learn to manage group cooperation in a full stack project, achieving really good results and really good group understanding.
