Inspiration

I often noticed that students and even adults feel overwhelmed because they have many tasks but no clear way to decide what to do first. Normal to-do lists only show tasks, not their urgency, effort, or time required. I wanted to create something that brings logic and structure into daily planning, so users can make better decisions about how to use their time. That is how the idea of Priororderly was born.

What It Does

Priororderly is a task planning website where users can:

Add tasks with time required, effort level, days left, and priority

Sort tasks based on effort, duration, deadline, or priority level

Clearly see what should be done first instead of guessing

It helps users focus on the most important and urgent tasks, making planning simple, organized, and stress-free.

How I Built It

I built Pri-orderly as a web application with:

A clean and easy-to-use interface for adding and managing tasks

Sorting logic that arranges tasks based on selected criteria

Structured input fields to capture time, effort, deadlines, and priority

I focused on keeping the design simple so that students and adults can use it easily without confusion.

Challenges I Ran Into

Designing a system that could correctly sort tasks based on multiple factors

Making the interface simple while still powerful

Deciding how users should enter effort and priority in a clear way

Managing everything alone, from design to logic and testing

Accomplishments That I’m Proud Of

Successfully creating a system that intelligently prioritises tasks

Building the entire project independently from start to finish

Making a tool that is useful for both students and adults

Turning a common problem (poor time management) into a practical solution

What I Learned

How real-life task prioritisation works, not just theory

The importance of user experience and clarity in design

How planning logic can greatly improve productivity

How to manage and complete a full project independently

What’s Next for Pri-orderly

In the future, I plan to:

Add user accounts and login system

Include reminders and notifications

Add progress tracking and analytics

Improve design and visual appeal

Possibly add AI-based suggestions for task prioritisation
