Inspiration
We chose WebDev for our track. We decided to make a website for the club we run at our school.
What it does
The website allows people to learn about our club and involve themselves in our cause. It also helps members of our club at our school know how many service hours they can receive for each thing they donate as well as videos on how to make them. It also provides information on programs we do!
How we built it
We built it on Replit using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Challenges we ran into
We couldn't get the Contact Us form to properly work as it stated we needed to use a PHP file but we were already using CSS and js files. So we decided to use a placeholder.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how it turned out in much less time and that we have a great baseline for our actual website. It also has a very user-friendly interface.
What we learned
We learned how to manage our time properly as we started this project yesterday. We also learned more about JavaScript.
What's next for Project Yarn
We want to make our website public to people in our school and community so they can donate and involve themselves in this Project!
