Ponto ID is about ID saved on a smart phone's wallet. Ready for verification, gain access to control premises.
I have conceptualised the archtiecture making use of PKI cryptographic keys, both private and public, tied to an individual's wallet, to ensure the download of ID endorsed by a notary public, or an issuer authority.
My app also sends verifiable certificates signed by a Certification Authority (CA) to ensure authenticity of the ID.
The hash values of all ID's will be saved to a blockchain. The hash values are immutable, can be validated with transparency, and the records are residing on distributed servers.
Because it is the hash sums are saved on the blockchains, data with privacy would not be exposed.
I am proud that I am able to learn and code with Hyperledger Indy in such a short period of time. The prototype was built in under a week.
I have learned to learn from fellow members who have shared common passions. They have far more knowledge abotu certain subject matters far more than I do. Choosing the right persons and employ them intot the team is just as important as hacking the codes alone, when time is the essence.
There is no much future for my Pronto ID. OpenCert in Singapore has a similar service. BlockCert by MIT is already in full production.
Build with Hyperledger Fabrics as in the project Indy (framework).
