ProtectoLink

Inspiration

ProtectoLink was inspired by the aim to simplify the experience of using DeFi platforms, particularly for newcomers. I have personally experienced the challenges of navigating the DeFi space when starting out, and the goal was to make it accessible and user-friendly for others.

What it does

ProtectoLink offers a range of features designed to streamline the DeFi experience. It provides asset insurance protection through a marketplace, where users can easily purchase insurance tailored to their needs. The platform also includes an automatic portfolio rebalancer, a SIP creator for goal-based investing, and a $. action listener that can monitor blockchain transactions and trigger buy actions.

How we built it

The ProtectoLink project was built using Chainlink Automation Infra and Price feeds at its core. Insurance and all the utility that ProtectoLink offers uses Chainlink Keepers network. It also has gasless transaction support so users can log in with their metamask or gmail and easily make tx without thinking about gas fee.

Challenges we ran into

During the development process, the team faced several challenges. These included designing and implementing robust smart contracts, optimizing the portfolio rebalancing algorithm for efficiency and accuracy, and integrating with various blockchain networks. Overcoming these challenges required extensive research, experimentation, and collaboration among the team members.

This is definitely the most technical dapp that I've ever built, so very proud.

What's next for ProtectoLink

In the future, ProtectoLink aims to expand its range of features and offerings to provide even greater value to users. This includes exploring additional insurance options, enhancing the portfolio rebalancer with advanced strategies, expanding the SIP creator functionality, and incorporating more advanced analytics and insights. The team also plans to actively engage with the community, gather user feedback, and iterate on the platform to continually improve the user experience and meet the evolving needs of DeFi users.
