Inspiration

After numerous meetings where we had to juggle keeping notes with contributing to the discussion, we realized the inefficiency of this approach and the limitations of manual record holding.

What it does

An AI-based transcription bot for the creation of meeting protocols with direct Confluence and Google Meet Integration, including post-processing and summary generation.

How we built it

Protokollant consists of two parts, a Forge app for the confluence page, and a Typescript/Node.js app that joins the meeting with a puppeteer bot and that transcribes/cleans up everything.

Challenges we ran into

Self-hosting AI models on conventional hardware is basically impossible without having long waiting times.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing the project with immense time pressure and covid 😷
