Inspiration

As a junior in high school, I often have to read long mostly dull texts which are usually followed by a test on these passages. My project cuts down on time spent reading such text and creates a better way study method. The flashcard that QuizzGPT uses is reminiscent of Quizlet and the website's use of ChatGPT lead me to its current name.

What it does

QuizzGPT uses ChatGPT to shorten any text a user gives into two main points. Those main points are then put into question and question format which is then transferred over to flash cards.

How we built it

Using React and the ChatGPT API I created QuizzGPT.

The were many hurdles I faced while coding QuizzGPT. The first of which was using the ChatGPT API

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The use of ChatGPT was something I was proud of as it took a long time to get together. Thankfully those hours paid off and allows QuizzGPT to work.

What we learned

I learned about using ChatGPT API with javascript. I had experimented with the API with Python, so javascript was a new experience. Creating flashcards was the biggest learning experience.
