RABID TASKER

Introduction

Welcome to Rabid Tasker, a ✨revolutionary✨ task management tool that brings ancient task management into the future. Powered by the mystical Google Firebase with its hosting and Firestore database, Rabid Tasker ensures swift and efficient task organization for your tribe.

Inspiration

Todoist, Notion, and Trello

What it does

It's basically like a to-do list app.

How we built it

Visual Studio Code, Vite React, and Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of challenges with getting the Firebase hosting to work with Vite properly. After that, it was mostly just trying to figure out how to get the functionality of the app working and connect it to the Firestore Database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think just getting it mostly done is what we're proudest of at the moment.

What we learned

Come more prepared for hackathons. But for real, a lot of us had never used html, react, or even heard of Firebase. The whole project was a new experience for us.

What's next for Rabid Tasker

We're looking forward to the CTF on Monday. If we continue working on the project, we would work on making it look better and add more useful functionality for the user. We would also like to implement different settings so that the user can adjust it to their own preferences.
