Inspiration

There's a lack of information about the current professor when registering for classes.

What it does

Rate ISU will display the professor rating next to it's name on classes.iastate.edu and accessplus.iastate.edu (Schedule). It will also redirect you to the professors page in Rate My Professor to read the review.

How we built it

We parsed through the HTML source code of both Iowa State's and Rate my Professor websites and extracted the necessary elements.

Challenges we ran into

Learning JavaScript and using it for the first time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making a tool that would facilitate students life when registering for classes.

What's next for Rate ISU

Promote it and have people at Iowa State use it!
