Inspiration

The Royal Bank of Canada has many use cases for their loyalty points on their web and mobile app. Charity is an underdeveloped use case however, we decided to reinvent charity for RBC Loyalty Points.

Elevator Pitch

Crowdfunding application that provides transparency and holds charities accountable to serve others.

How it's built

Built on a local ethereum blockchain with node.js and web3.js. Front end html,css,js.

Challenges ran into

Connecting the web application to the blockchain.

What we accomplished

Able to fully demo the application during presentation and won $1,000 and some other cool prizes.

What we learned

Learned more about decentralized app development

The future

Hopefully our efforts will be incorporated into an update on their mobile app.
