Inspiration We were inspired by those moments when a song suddenly brings back a strong memory. It could be a road trip, someone you miss, or a feeling you forgot. Most apps today only save parts of a memory, like a photo or a note. We wanted to bring the full experience back, especially through music.

What it does Remidy lets you connect a song to a specific place and time. When you visit that place again, the app gives you a pop-up reminder of the memory. It feels natural and can bring a happy surprise.

How we built it We started by talking about real-life experiences that current apps do not capture well. Then we asked people if music reminds them of memories, and most said yes. After that, we created user flows, designed wireframes, and built high-fidelity designs. We chose warm colors and simple fonts to make the app feel friendly and emotional.

Challenges we ran into One challenge was making Remidy stand out. Apps like Spotify and Instagram touch on memories but do not create a full emotional experience. Another challenge was designing the app to feel easy and natural to use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud that Remidy feels special. It does more than store memories. It brings them back in a meaningful way. We also worked well as a team and received good feedback from people who tested it.

What we learned We learned that music is a strong trigger for memories. We also learned how to test our idea with users, design with care, and build something that feels personal and easy to use.

What's next for Remidy We want to turn Remidy into a real app. Our next steps include connecting it with music platforms, adding memory journal features, and improving the pop-up experience. We also want to explore features like sound or AR to make memories feel even more real.
