What it does

In urgent situations, every moment is crucial. But, when the emergency call center is really busy or doesn't have enough staff, callers might need to wait a long time for someone to pick up their call. This waiting can be a serious issue and might lead to loss of life or damage to property.

Our project in the hackathon, ResqAI, tackles this problem. We use artificial intelligence to assess how important each call is and then share the necessary details with the emergency operator. This makes it easier for emergency services to respond quickly and do their job better, which could save lives and prevent property damage.

The Features which we have in ResqAI :

AI-powered call management: ResqAI uses natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) to identify the urgency of each call and prioritize them accordingly.

Call grading based on keywords: ResqAI grades each call based on the keywords spoken by the caller. This allows the system to quickly identify urgent calls and transfer them to the emergency handler.

Location tracking: ResqAI also records the location of each caller and provides this information to the handler.

Call transcript: ResqAI provides a transcript of each call to the emergency handler, allowing them to quickly and accurately assess the situation and respond accordingly.

Automated responses: In some cases, ResqAI can provide automated responses to callers to guide them through emergency situations until an emergency handler is available.

Challenges we ran into

We had some difficulties in our project, especially when it came to understanding spoken words, setting up Ethereum, and connecting the back part of our application with the front part.
