Inspiration

We are thinking of building a web app game, and instantly we want to make a chess game.

What it does

It is a simple chess game, where its winning conditions are getting checkmated, stalemate on your turn, or being down 20 points.

How we built it

We built it using Vue.js as the frontend, with JavaScript & Python as its backend and a firebase to connect both ends together.

Challenges we ran into

We are all beginners and have no experience in Vue.js and firebase and after this hackathon, we learn it within the 36 hours and code out this chess game with the help of our mentors.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As we are all beginners in the hackathon, making most of the web app successfully is something that we are proud ofof. Although there is still some error here and there, we are satisfied with what we have learned after this hackathon.

What we learned

We learned how to use firebase and Vue.js and also more in the game logic portions.
