Elevator Pitch
Rezonance falls under the sustainability track and is a female-based initiative that strives to support women in need of clothing while promoting visual disability awareness.
Inspiration
We drew inspiration from our shared love for fashion and our desire to make it more affordable for others to purchase necessary clothing.
What it does
We allow users to list used clothing on their account as a donation or for a set price under $80. Users can then either purchase or acquire these used clothing items for free.
How we built it
We used Server.js as our server, built the back-end with JavaScript, and linked it to our front-end by connecting to our HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
We originally faced challenges with writing our program in Java, so we switched to JavaScript, which made it easier for us to connect our back-end to the front-end.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the awareness aspect we were able to work into the sustainability track of our project.
What we learned
We all learned how to use HTML and CSS for the first time, and Tanya and Saadhana used JavaScript for the first time.
What's next for Rezonance
In the future, we would like to implement additional features, such as the ability to add and remove friends, direct message listers, and filter items using geo-location.
