Inspiration

We wanted to make a game. It's something that we've wanted to do for a while.

What it does

You go around killing robotic spiders. There are custom parkour mechanics such as wall running and wall jumping.

How we built it

We used Unity as our game engine and C# for the scripting. Most assets were publicly available.

Challenges we ran into

Lots of errors in scripting and object collision. We also had trouble implementing some of the parkour mechanics.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we were able to complete the game within a single night (Saturday night specifically). We all picked up some amount of Unity through the experience (the majority of us had little experience with Unity).

What we learned

Custom implementation of parkour mechanics in Unity - dealing with the physics engine can be finnicky. We also learned how to create custom animations for our attack system.
