Inspiration

RockXmas was inspired because of the need to produce melody even without sophisticated gadgets.

What it does

RockXmas produces fine tunes using Arduino Uno and passive buzzers. It can be used to play melody even without a loud speaker

How we built it

RockXmas was built using Arduino Uno, A passive buzzer and a 3 colour LED display. The Arduino acts as the controller of the whole system, it generates a tune according to soke set of code and sends the signal to the active buzzer which then gives out the particular tone. The LED also was programmed to change colour in sync with the tones and timing generated.

Challenges we ran into

Just like how singing can sometimes be complicated for human beings, generating tunes on the Arduino also can be complicated. Challenges ran into majorly was finding the right tones and also pitch timings

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to have a working device is an Accomplishments we're proud of and having something to display coming Christmas

What we learned

We learned how to work with patches and tones on the Arduino and how to manipulate this to produce music

What's next for RockXmas

Making it produce much longer songs and packaging it for Christmas
