Inspiration ---> We always felt that the Rutgers University application could always use a little work, and what better than a little AI mixed in.

What it does ---> We take in a student's portfolio, including various stats such as gpa, sat, extracurriculars, awards, and proceed to include an AI-powered admissions bot that helps the student improve their application.

How we built it ---> We built this project using Next JS for our frontend, Microsoft Azure and OpenAI for AI integration, and a Flask backend powered by Python.

Challenges we ran into ---> we attempted to include Natural Language Processing with speech to text capabilities from the push of a button, and after spending just enough time, we were finally able to crack it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to first of all complete our project, with a working frontend, backend, and AI integration. We are proud to have multiple AI bots throughout the project, assisting the student in unimaginable ways, truly redefining the admissions process.

What we learned ---> For the first time, our group learned speech-to-text processing of data as well as utilizing AI power from a cloud service, such as Microsoft Azure. Learning Azure as well as its capabilities in conjunction with Cloudforce technology was quite inspiring.

What's next for RUAdmitted? ---> while it may not be necessary, we wanted to include a feature that allows the user to simply speak into the system, and when done so, the computer will speak back to the user, completely removing a need for typing out any data and providing ease of access.
